About the fair
Welcome to The Golden Isles Children's Business Fair, a one-day event where kids can launch a business and our entire community can celebrate the leaders of tomorrow.
Do you know a young entrepreneur? Encourage them to register today! All they need to do is:
- Create a product or service
- Set up a booth at the Children's Business Fair
- And sell the products or services to the public

This event is free to the public.
REGISTRATION FEE $65 per BOOTH (Maximum of three 3 participants per business booth)
All businesses will be automatically entered into the business competition, and booths will be judged
by fellow entrepreneurs in the following categories:
● Most Original Business Idea
● Highest Business Potential
● Best Presentation / Creativity

What's the registration Fee? The registration fee is $65 per booth. We accept only 1 (one) business per registration. Maximum of three kids in a booth.
What if someone else has the same business idea?
Two cupcake businesses? Not a problem. In general, we will let market forces play out, though we will let later entries know if another applicant has a similar idea so the later entrant can decide what to do.

How do I apply? Can I apply as part of a group?
The application must be submitted online. Please submit one application for each business. Children working as a group should submit one application that includes each child’s information. No more than 3 participants per business.

How will the fair be set up?
The fair will be an outdoor event with booths. Each business will be required to bring a table and chairs to set-up their booth. We will provide the tents.
Will electricity be available?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide electricity to the booths.
What happens if it rains on the day of the event?
We will reschedule the event for a different date. Registration will not be refunded.

What are the rules?
This event is designed to give children the experience of selling a product or service. If a parent is found selling or promoting a child’s product or service, their child’s business will be disqualified from the competition.

Parents of younger children may sit in the booth, but the children should be responsible for customer interaction and sales.
Parents may help their children fill out the application, but we expect the children to do as much as possible by themselves.
Are Parents or Guardians required to attend?
Parents of children under age 13 are required to remain on-site for the duration of the business fair.
What happens if it rains on the day of the event?
The event will take place rain or shine unless there is an 80% or greater prediction of severe weather. A cancellation decision will only be made and posted if severe weather is anticipated, and this will occur 24 hours prior to the event. Updates will be posted on the Facebook Event page and the official website. In the event of a cancellation, the market will be rescheduled. Please note, there are no refunds, and registration fees cannot be applied to a future market.
