Apply to the fairThe Children's Business Fair is open to all families who want their child (ages 5-17) to have the opportunity to:
- Make something with his or her own hands
- Sell it (safely) to a stranger
- Experience the freedom (and responsibility) of having a little extra spending money as a reward
There is a $10 fee to reserve the space. This helps cover the costs of hosting each booth and ensures participating families have some "skin in the game" — fairs that do not charge a booth fee tend to see many people apply to participate who don't show up. Plus, the kidpreneurs could consider $10 as startup costs that they must pay their parents back.
The fair will only 1 chair for every business. Families must bring their own table (max 6 feet in length). In previous years, the fair was able to provide canopy tents, but for this event, we are unable to find enough funds to sponsor the tent unfortunately.

Each business will be given a booth (please bring your own tent+ table + chair). Table cloths will not be provided.

Is there a cost to register for the booth application?
Yes, to cover the basic operational costs we request a nominal charge of $10 which is due at the time of registration. As a participant, you are also required to wear the Kid$ Bi$ T-shirt which is an additional charge. Details of it will be provided shortly. Stay tuned for more details.
Is the participant required to wear the T-shirt?
Yes. All the participating kids entrepreneurs are required to wear the Kid$ Bi$ Tshirts for the upcoming event. This will allow for our judges and media to spot your entrepreneurs easily and help encourage our sponsors to get the spotlight and help award the winners.
Why is a T-Shirt Required for the Event?
The T-shirt serves as a uniform for all participants, creating a sense of unity and identity among the attendees. It also helps organizers and staff easily identify participants during the event, ensuring smooth coordination and assistance, especially helping the judges to identify which booth participants to judge for.

Thanks to our sponsors, the shirt costs only $15. We will close accepting shirts on November 14, 2025 after which the door price will be $25. The distribution of the t-shirts will be announced at a later date.
