It was inspiring to see their creativity and confidence shine, and we can’t wait to do it all over again!

What to Expect:

The Children’s Business Fair gives kids the opportunity to:
✅ Develop a brand and business idea
✅ Create a product or service
✅ Build a marketing strategy
✅ Open for customers at a one-day marketplace
✅ Learn financial basics, including profit and loss (with parental guidance)

This event is a child-led experience, allowing young entrepreneurs to take ownership of their businesses while parents provide support as needed. It’s a fantastic way to encourage innovation, problem-solving, and leadership—all while having fun!

Hi, I’m Marcus Murillo, a father of three and the proud owner of ROC Electrical, based in Murrieta, CA. As a business owner, I’ve experienced the blessings, rewards, and challenges of entrepreneurship firsthand. My goal is to inspire and equip young minds with the confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills needed to build something of their own.

I know firsthand how valuable it is to learn the ropes of business at a young age. When I started ROC Electrical, I faced challenges that taught me the importance of perseverance, problem-solving, and adaptability—skills I want to pass down to my children and others in our community. That’s why I host this fair—not only to bring this opportunity to local kids but also to lead and teach my son about the realities of business ownership.

As a leader in Trail Life Troop 1321, I believe that by supporting and encouraging young entrepreneurs, we’re helping shape the future business leaders and innovators of Murrieta and beyond. Whether your child already has a business idea or just wants to explore entrepreneurship, this fair is the perfect chance to gain hands-on experience, meet like-minded peers, and have fun learning valuable life skills.

I’m excited to see the young entrepreneurs of our community shine and showcase their talents. Join us for a day of innovation, learning, and fun as we celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship!
