Cost - $5 Donation paid in cash at check-in ( all proceeds will go towards the Kids for prizes )
🕗 Schedule:
- 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Booth Setup
- 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Fair Open to Customers
- 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Cleanup
After the huge success of our first-ever Children’s Business Fair, we are thrilled to bring it back for a second year! Last year, we had an incredible time watching young entrepreneurs take their ideas from concept to reality, creating amazing products, delivering sales pitches, and learning valuable business skills. It was inspiring to see their creativity and confidence shine, and we can’t wait to do it all over again!

✅ Learn financial basics, including profit and loss (with parental guidance)
- Booths should be self-managed by kids (parents can assist as needed but let the kids lead!).
- Bring your own table and decorations to make your booth stand out.
- No selling food items that require temperature control unless pre-approved.

- People’s Choice Award (voted on by the fair committee, made up of Trail Life members)

- Live entertainment (music, comedy, talent acts)

- Setup Crew (7:30 AM – 9:00 AM)
- Help arrange tables, chairs, and signage.

Frequently Asked Questions – 2nd Annual Acton Children’s Business Fair
- Each business must submit one application.
- Groups of up to three children may apply together as one business.
- Only one application per business is required, but it must include each participant’s details.
- What product or service will you sell?
- What price will you charge? What are your costs?
- How will you cover startup costs? If someone helps fund you, how will you repay them?
- How will you market and advertise before the fair?
- How will you determine your business's success after the fair?
- Each business will need to provide their own set up such as 6-foot table and 1-2 chairs
- Tablecloths will not be provided.
- We cannot accommodate businesses requiring electricity.
Will electricity be available?
No, we are not able to provide electricity to booths. But will have some as needed for set up or for those approved needed for booth
yes, attendees should bring their own snacks and drinks.there is a water filling station in the building and a fridge is available for seller to use during event

- This event is designed for children to gain experience selling a product or service.
- Parents should not sell or promote their child’s products/services—this will result in disqualification from the competition.
- Younger children may have parents present, but the child should be responsible for setup, customer interaction, and sales.
- Parents may help with the application, but children should complete as much of it as possible on their own.
