About the fair
We are so excited to have another vendor opportunity for our Kidpreneurs! This particular Children's Business Fair will take place at Krate in Wesley Chapel and will be held along side our Giving Tuesday Fundraiser.
The Kidpreneurs will still sell their products and keep 100% of their profits as usual. We are just simultaneously having a fundraiser for our nonprofit so we can continue empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs.

WHAT IS GIVING TUESDAY?
A self-described "global generosity movement," Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving that began in 2012 as a response to holiday consumerism.
Giving Tuesday will take place on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Think of it like this: Thursday is Thanksgiving, then comes Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, and finally… Giving Tuesday!
What is Tampa Children's Business Fair?
Tampa Children's Business Fair is a non-profit, business/craft fair where all of the business owners are local children! Our one-day events are a culmination of ideas and hard work from great young minds in our community. Our "KIDPRENEURS," ages 6-16, develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, plan the cost of goods and pricing, and then open for customers at our fair. We invite the community to shop and support these creative and driven children as they learn beginning business strategies and experience the process of entrepreneurship. Having the children plan and execute their own business at every level allows them to understand the importance of hard work, take responsibility, and gain confidence in the next challenge.

Frequently asked questions
How many businesses will you accept?
We will accept up to 50 businesses.
How do I apply? Can I apply as part of a group?
Application must be submitted online. Please submit one application for each business. Children working as a group should submit one application that includes each child’s information. No more than 3 participants per business.
What is on the application?
The application asks kids to think through some simple, but important elements of their business:
- What product or service do you plan to sell?
- What price will you charge for each product/service? How much will each product/service cost you?
- How will you pay for your startup costs? If someone is helping you with your startup costs, how will you pay that person back?
- How will you advertise/market your business before the fair?
- At the end of the fair, how will you determine if your business was a success?
How will the fair be set up?
The Giving Tuesday fair will be an outdoor event. If you have your own tent, table, and chairs for your booth, please being them to this event. Normally our fairs are indoors and include table and chairs but this venue is having us for a special occasion.
Will electricity be available?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide electricity to the booths.
What are the rules?
This event is designed to give children the experience of selling a product or service. If a parent is found selling or promoting a child’s product or service, their child’s business will be disqualified from the competition.
Parents of younger children may sit in the booth, but the children should be responsible for set up, customer interaction, and sales.
Parents may help their child fill out the application, but we expect the children to do as much as possible by themselves.
