The Marietta Children's Business Fair team is made up of diverse individuals with a passion for contributing to the lives of children. As a team our goal is to provide a business fair event for Marietta, GA or Cobb county children.
This years fair will be an online meet and present. Please have your items available to show and any links to websites to order. We will also provide business information for youth to train them on having a business. Registration is $10 to secure your child's spot. All participants will be eligible for 2022 fair.
The Director Geneva Bernoudy along with her niece Toi Bernoudy, who is the Child Liaison, decided that this was a great opportunity to partner with Acton to host a Children's Business Fair in Marietta.

Frequently asked questions
How many businesses will you accept?
We will accept up to 50 virtual businesses.
Where should I begin?
Fill out and application or contact us for more information.
How do I apply? Can I apply as part of a group?
Application must be submitted online. Please submit one application for each business. Children working as a group should submit one application that includes each child’s information. No more than 3 participants per business.
What is on the application?
The application asks kids to think through some simple, but important elements of their business:
- What product or service do you plan to sell?
- What price will you charge for each product/service? How much will each product/service cost you?
- How will you pay for your startup costs? If someone is helping you with your startup costs, how will you pay that person back?
- How will you advertise/market your business before the fair?
- At the end of the fair, how will you determine if your business was a success?
What is the booth Fee?
The online platform is designed to showcase the child's business and prepare for next years in person fair. To reserve your spot a $10 fee will be invoiced through PayPal to your given email address.
What if someone else has the same business idea?
Two cupcake businesses? Not a problem. In general, we will let market forces play out, though we will let later entries know if another applicant has a similar idea so the later entrant can decide what to do.
How will the fair be set up?
The fair will be a Virtual event to show case your product.
What are the rules?
This event is designed to give children the experience of selling a product or service. Parents may assist but the child must be active in the online set up.
Parents may help their child fill out the application, but we expect the children to do as much as possible by themselves.
