Directions

Children ages five to thirteen are invited to apply for a booth to showcase a business they have started and celebrate with the community their entrepreneurial vision. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of entrepreneurs and those with the most potential will be invited to display their service or product, sell samples and recruit customers on the lawn of the historic Pease Mansion on October 9, 2010.

Cash Prizes of $50 will be awarded in each age group (age 5 – 7, 8 – 10 and 11 – 13) for the Best Presentation, Most Original, and Highest Business Potential. The prize for Best Presentation will be awarded based on a survey of attendees. Prizes for Most Original and Highest Business Potential will be awarded based on selection by a panel of judges.

A $10 Entry Fee is charged for each exhibit that is accepted. The money for this fee must be earned by the child/children who own the business.

Each participant in an exhibit will receive four entrance passes for the event, worth $2 each, to be shared with family or friends. Participants will also have the opportunity to sell additional entrance passes and the participant that sells the most prior to October 9th will win a prize. Remember, the more tickets sold means more customers at your booth!
